Wedding Planning and Coronavirus.

Firstly, we hope everyone is safe and well. These are unprecedented times and we wanted to make you all aware that we are here to help and support with any changes you may need to make to your wedding plans.  We want to reach out and be available for any advice brides should need - whether they have booked with us or not. On top of this we want to make sure our local suppliers are ok in these tough times and again open our arms in any way that we can help.

Undoubtedly, you’re going through all sorts of emotions about your upcoming wedding or event. While we all want to keep our loved ones and society safe, it’s also ok to feel the heartbreaking disappointment, especially after putting your life and soul into organising such a massive day that means so much to you. We can assure you that we will do all we can to help you.

We are no longer having face to face meetings so that we can fully support the national effort to beat Covid-19, but thank goodness for technology as it still means we can stay in touch and provide support.

Those of you who have us as your wedding planners or on the day coordinators we will still have meetings with you, just using tech instead!

We are currently making plans to try and provide video clips of our hire catalogue and items we have available. We can also send over hundreds of images of items set up in different styles and locations, still allowing you to be able to choose the décor you want to use and support you in making sure your wedding still has a magical vibe with a personal touch.

If you’re stressing out and now want to get us onboard to help with your planning and rearrangements, please contact us. If you need help contacting suppliers or need suppliers to work together and maybe even swap bookings over, we can have all those conversations for you.

After looking over government guidelines of the pandemic and the anticipated projection of the crisis, as well as reading various wedding blogs and taking on board advice of suppliers, we would recommend thinking hard about how long you postpone for.  Thinking of a summer wedding-it maybe best to postpone until next year to avoid further disappointment. Yes that means waiting longer to marry your loved one, but it could also avoid a lot more stress and make sure you truly get every aspect of your dream wedding without having to keep an eye on the latest news updates week by week. Of course, we will stick by any decision you make and support you no matter what.
We also love a winter wedding-we have some amazing venues on the Isle of Wight which look incredible with open fires and candlelight. It also means you can’t be further disappointed by the  British weather and it can be such a magical atmosphere, creating great party vibes.

In order to try and support all our clients we need you to do the following:

Firstly, get in touch and tell us you’re ok, we worry about you all, and check your insurance!

Secondly please let us know if you are even thinking about postponing and looking at other dates – we may even be able to reserve a second date just in case, the sooner we know this from everyone we can formulate a plan to support you all as best we can.

If you decide to postpone, your money is safe and can be transferred to a new date, if we really can’t do your new date then we will refund any money in full.

We are here for you and will work really hard to rearrange where we can.

We look forward to hearing from you.

We will see you through this and out the other side, to what will be an amazing day for you.
